Cutting Through The Bullshit—an introduction to decorative weapons.

In this full day class (10-4) you will get in introduction to the forging process and basic blacksmithing skills. We will create a one of a kind leaf dagger, to cut through lifes bullshit!

The class will start with a discussion about blacksmithing which will cover how forges work, fire management, tools, techniques and safety. We will then forge a simple element to be used later on your piece. After you have a feel for the metal we will talk about your personal design and then the rest of the workshop will be spent helping you get it completed!
Creativity is strongly encouraged, you are welcome to recreate the demonstration or you can completely take it your own way!

Children under 18 but older than 16 must be accompanied by a parent also taking the class.
